Meeting to appoint board

On Thursday evening a good turnout at Averham church to appoint the board for your ASK Hive Community Hub.

They also chose to use a Community Benefit Society as the legal entity for ASK Hive.

To end the meeting they had a quick “Benefits and Concerns” session

Positives were the turnout and enthusiasm as well as achieving the goals of the agenda

Negatives were:

Timing of the meeting. It was felt that a better time would get a better response, and

Although central, the acoustics in the church were not ideal for a meeting. Hopefully the school will provide much better facilities for such things.

Once legal status has been accepted then an AGM to formally appoint directors has to be held within 6 months.
