HAPPY NEW YEAR

Greetings, and a Happy New Year to you all, 2025 will be an exciting year for our Community Hub as we hope to move forward with good news, following our discussions with Nottinghamshire County Council, probably in the spring.

We have organised a board meeting for January to further prepare the way forward, and to start a “Pioneer” fund for initial costs like; preparing our business plan, and having it subjected to independent scrutiny in order to gain certification by The Community Share Standard Mark team. This gives investors confidence that our plans are realistic and points out the realities of investing in our Community Share offer.

The Business plan is designed with not only Community benefits, partnerships with other organisations but also a commercial element to ensure that this venture is not reliant upon grants to keep it afloat. This doesn’t mean we won’t apply for grants to develop the Hub for specific projects as time moves on.

It will be a challenge to get underway but we have a brilliant team with a wide range of skills and expertise in a broad range of areas.

Should you wish to donate to this fantastic project you can transfer funds to our bank account to help us on our way.

We will report on spending and no monies are paid to the board!
