Waving the green flag for or our next summer outing! 

Sherwood Forest Railway Gorsethorpe Lane Kings Clipstone Notts  NG21 9HL Wednesday 24th July.

Meet in the car park at 3.00pm (free parking) catch the train at 3.30pm to take us a short journey into the enchanted forest for a picnic. We'll have around an hour to enjoy our picnic and surroundings before the steam train returns us to our meeting point.

Sherwood Forest Railway is the only narrow gage steam railway in Nottinghamshire and it nestles in the valley between Mansfield and Edwinstowe. The station shop sells teas coffees, bottled soft drinks, ice creams and gifts.  Whilst it's unlikely we'll catch a glimpse of Robin Hood and his Merry Men, we can be sure to have an afternoon of fun and merriment!

This event is open to everyone, not just club members so let your partners, friends, neighbours and family know all about it.  Admission is £5pp (dogs travel for free) for the train ride and entry into our fabulous raffle.  Please bring your own picnic with you.
